State of the Schools Breakfast to Focus on Future of Local Education

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]The Athens State University Foundation will be hosting a “State of the Schools” Breakfast featuring Athens City School Superintendent Trey Holladay and Limestone County School Superintendent Tom Sisk.

The event is scheduled for Friday, May 8 in the Ballroom of the Sandridge Student Center at Athens State University. Breakfast will be served starting at 7:15 a.m. and the two speakers will commence at 7:45 a.m. Questions will be taken after the Superintendents share their views for the future of local education.

“We are pleased to host this event as a chance for the public to hear about the progress and new initiatives within our local school systems,” states Athens State Vice President for Advancement Rick Mould. “The Athens State Foundation is pleased to partner with Athens City and Limestone County Schools as we have with city and county municipalities in the past.”

Tickets are required and cost $25 per person. Recognized sponsorships are available for $250 (Gold) and $150 (Silver). Gold sponsorships will receive two complimentary tables, and silver sponsorship will receive one complimentary table.
