There were 16 entries in each category. Students created their design entries under the instruction of Professor Pamela Keller in Computer Graphic Design, a course that teaches advanced use of softwares for design. The course is held in the state-of-the-art graphic design lab at The Alabama Center for the Arts in Decatur, Alabama.
“Dr. Reeves held the design competition to help students get real-work experience with a client. Students were given a client brief, detailed instruction in the software and design process and a mid-work critique from the client. The fact that the client actually chose student work to be used in the professional setting was in addition to the student’s grade for the work. All these students should be very proud of their accomplishments and will have excellent pieces for their portfolio’s,” said Professor Keller.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
